Supply of hot water on demand
The power reserves of the DA 5018 Ai permit coupling with domestic hot water tanks to suit your needs. Tanks with a capacity from 300 to 1,000 litres from the EcoStock series can be combined.

The DA 5018 Ai impresses with very good performance figures and the long service life to be expected from WATERKOTTE.The attractive design, optionally in stainless steel look, can be integrated excellently into your living area.

The pour performance is given in the unity litre per hour. She defines the amount of the hot water which can deliver a heat pump, until the heat stock isn´t big enough anymore. The necessary pour performance depends on the fact how many and which hot-water consumers take at the same time warm water.
In addition to best performance values and high-quality equipment, many of our heat pumps have already received a number of awards due to their design and efficiency. The successful design and optimised housing dimensions allows seamless integration of our products into every living ambience. Furthermore, all models have excellent COP values. This is our self-concept of uncompromising high-end.
The COP value of a heat pump stands for "Coefficient of Performance" and refers to the heat pump efficiency. The COP value indicates the ratio of heat output and the respective drive energy required, the power consumption measured in kW. The COP value is the basis for the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) subsidy. A good COP value is between 3 and 5. Heat pumps with a COP value below 2 are usually uneconomical.
The circuit inside the heat pump has the same structure as a household refrigerator. The evaporator withdraws renewable heat from the ground or the air. During this process the initially liquid refrigerant evaporates completely at low pressure. This refrigerant vapour is pulled in by a compressor and compressed at high pressure. In doing so, the condensation temperature of the refrigerant vapour shifts to a higher temperature. This vapour condenses in the condenser on the surface of the heat exchanger and in the process delivers the entire renewable energy as well as the electrical energy for the compressor to the heating water. Then the liquid refrigerant is returned again to the low pressure by means of the expansion valve..

The software for the heat pump and all other WATERKOTTE units is checked during our maintenance service on site and updated if necessary
Parts up to compressors can be replaced by the service engineer on site. In special cases a replacement machine up to max. 27 kW can be provided.
You need a spare part? Our customer service will advise you on all components of your WATERKOTTE heat pump. This applies to both current and older series.
On the purchase and installation of a new WATERKOTTE heat pump your old system (boiler, heat pump) will be disposed of. This statement does not apply to oil tanks and contaminated units.
Prior to the purchase of a new system we support you with the design of the optimal system. For EcoVent systems we prepare for you detailed project documentationfor your living area ventilation.
The system settings are confi gured to suit the user‘s situation.
New systems are checked for correct installation and placed in service by factory customer service.
All components in a system are professionallycleaned and in this way kept in best condition in relation to effi ciency and hygiene.
