Heat Pump Production and Research in Germany
With the move to a new, larger company building in 2025, we are significantly expanding our production capacities. We are particularly proud of the expansion of our research and development center, which now offers even more space for technological innovation around our heat pump systems.
As part of the Swedish NIBE Group, we also benefit from the expertise of our sister companies in Sweden and across Europe. This further strengthens our position as a German heat pump manufacturer that continues to concentrate research, development, and production in Germany.

When relocating in 2025, we made a conscious decision to remain in the Ruhr region—a region that has evolved from a traditional coal-mining area into a modern hub for technology, research, and sustainable energy solutions. As a German manufacturer of heat pumps, we actively help shape this transformation.
With our new headquarters in the MARK 51°7 innovation district in Bochum, we are sending a clear signal of future focus and long-term commitment to the region. Where automobiles were once produced, innovative technologies and sustainable energy solutions are now being developed.
About the New Corporate Headquarters in Bochum
The MARK 51°7 site on the former Opel grounds stands as a symbol of the region’s successful structural transformation and is one of North Rhine-Westphalia’s most important future-oriented districts. Here, research, industry, and start-ups come together—an environment that fosters innovation and creates synergies. Close ties to universities, research institutes, and technology companies provide ideal conditions for collaboration, knowledge transfer, and joint development. In this way, we are actively shaping the energy transition not only technologically, but also at a regional level.
